...I sing because I live. And my song will live on.

about
the singer/songwriter
Riah Cole is a Southern California based artist-writer. Born into a family of singers, Riah spent her formative years discovering her voice alongside her three sisters, performing together as a gospel group and singing in local church choirs. Her musical foundation expanded when she began learning to read music after taking up the clarinet and alto saxophone in her middle school years.
Upon entering high school, Riah began to concentrate on vocal performance and deepening her understanding of how singers interpret music. Through participation in choral ensembles, show choir, and specialized vocal showcases, she explored classical works, oldies, jazz standards, show tunes, and modern cinematic hits all while gaining a solid grasp of music theory and vocal technique.
Since then, her talent has allowed her to perform in many vocal ensembles and share the stage with acclaimed artists such as Johnnyswim, Andra Day, Faith Evans, Leslie Odom, and Ciara. She has also contributed her vocals to a wide range of projects for artists such as Jess Glynne, One OK Rock, and Jaylon Ashaun.
Marked by messages of hope, her personal sound carries influence of gospel, soul, R&B, and jazz and is marked by her stylistic harmonies and riffs. In 2021 she released her debut single, “Switch Up”, produced by Jonathan Decuir and Kevin Randolph. Deeply passionate about music and storytelling, Riah writes with the hope of inspiring others to become the best versions of themselves.
She is currently preparing to release a new single in Summer 2026.
